A lot has landed in Break The Map since September — a redesigned home, Sessions, a new My BTM tab, private messages and more. Here's the full tour, screen by screen.
All updates are live now — update your app to get them.
Open the app and everything that matters is right there:
Tip: allow location for Break The Map in your phone settings — that's what powers "Training around you" and nearby sessions.
My BTM is your corner of the app. Here's what lives there, top to bottom:
Your Blackbook timeline — every event you're interested in, going to or battling at, next one up first.
Your active alerts for cities you follow — more on these below.
The spots and events you added to the map.
Spots and events you bookmarked for later.
Your sessions, who joined, and your history.
If you run events: results to post and requests to handle, all in one place.
A spot is a place. A session is a moment: people meeting up to train or dance — at a spot, a studio, anywhere. And every time someone creates one within 50 km of you, you get a notification. So you always know when someone's training in the next 24 hours.
Where the scene trains all year. Sessions come and go — spots stay on the map.
The big map is still the heart of the app — every spot, event and session, worldwide. Zoom out and the numbers show how much is happening in each area. Tap a cluster and flip through every spot inside it, card by card, photos included.
Talk to the scene without leaving the app. Ask an organizer a question about their event, link up with someone before a session, keep your crew in one thread. Everything stays where the events are.

Traveling soon? Don't keep checking the map — set an alert and the map comes to you.
A city, or drop a point anywhere on the map — Barcelona, your hometown, anywhere.
Choose how far your alert reaches, in km.
New training spots, events, or both — and the dates that matter, like the week of your trip.
The moment something new drops there, your phone tells you. Even if there's nothing on the map today.
Running a jam? The app follows you all the way through:
Your profile already covers the basics — newsletter, notifications, email, log out. The full profile page is in the works, and it's going to be dope. Watch this space.
New events, fresh spots and what's moving on the map — a short read, once in a while. Sign up from the app.

New editions will show up here as the app grows.
