A spot is a place. A session is a moment: people meeting up to train or dance — at a spot, a studio, anywhere. This page explains how sessions work, start to circle.
Sessions live in the next 24 hours, never further. What you see on the map is happening today or tomorrow — never “someday”. That keeps the map honest: if there’s a pin, someone is actually going.
Hit the + on the map or the Sessions tab:

cypher or training — and the style: breaking, Apache Line, or stand up HH for every other dance.
at a spot from the map, or anywhere else — a studio, a parking lot, a beach.
public sessions notify everyone around. A private session is visible only to you and the people you invite from BTM.
You land in a city where you know nobody. Find a spot on the map, open a session there — and every breaker within 50 km gets a notification: someone’s coming to break. The locals who keep an eye on their city will show up or spread the word. No session planned in town? That never blocks you. Open one, and people come to you.
24 hours maximum. That’s on purpose: the sessions map only shows things that are really about to happen.
Everyone, on the map and through nearby notifications — unless you make it private. A private session is visible only to you and your invitees.
